I just took the Beyond Basic Backgrounds class as as part of the Altenew Educator Certification Program. Many cool ways of adding to the cards by backgrounds. I initially made an alcohol background, but decided to make a smaller background as the focal point.

I stamped the sentiment and cut the Yupo to get the dimensions on the card correct. The colors were alcohol inks on Yupo paper. I just loved how this turned out. Alcohol inks are such a fun medium to work with. This was a 4.25″ x 5.5″ top folding card.

I used the Altenew Coneflower Stamp after the Alcohol Inks were dried. I used Staz On Ink. I then used some copic markers and just lightly pounded the tip end to create the dots within the leaves. I love this look. I applied a few blings and Altenew dots and adhered to a black backing as a frame. This was a fun card and fairly easy to make.
I hope you enjoy.
This looks fab! Thank you for submitting your project to the AECP assignment gallery.
