Sweet Nothing

I took the Masking Unleashed class as part of the Altenew Educator Certification Program. I’m pretty impressed with Masking, I didn’t think I would be, it takes a little extra time, but it really improves the look.

I used the Sweet Nothings stamp set by Altenew. Stamped the Flower and Sentiment in Altenew Sea Glass and Desert Night ink. I had it in my Misti and went over with Versamark Embossing Ink. Then set it with clear embossing powder and a heat gun. I then lightly inked up the flower, and sprayed perfect pearls mixed with water.

I created a mask and cut out to cover the flower. I then stamped the leaves and lightly covered them with ink. I used a copic marker to highlight the veins in the leaves.

To finish the card I used some splatter and gems. I also scored the card with my score buddy. I added to a card base. I am impressed with the masking technique.
