This craft a flower tulip set has moved up the list of my favorites. The things you can do are endless. I had used alcohol inks on both watercolor paper and yupo for the die cuts. I cut a bunch and just made a pile of all of the pieces.

I cut down a panel to 5-1/4″ x 4-1/8″ and used a small ink pad to make 4 borders. I love this technique. I think it really adds to the texture on the card.

Cut a smaller panel and had a cover die that I put it on a rubber pad to just get a pattern. I used some Rubilite Ink and created a splatter. I then constructed the flower. Glued the flower to the background. Die cut the Believe sentiment and constructed the card.

I did add ribbon to the card and some gems. This is a fun pretty set. I hope you enjoy it like I did.
The flower goes on the thinner portion, that’s the stem 🙂 If you had adhered it there, you would get a very flowy feel.I like the addition of those ink pad swiped panels, they look nice in the overall photo. I also like the metallic touch, the mixing of yupo and watercolor cardstock, looks cool.
Thank you for submitting your work to the AECP assignment gallery.
Mercy I thought something didn’t look right😜
